Morar is named after one of the picturesque villages on the ‘Road to the Isles’. It’s been set up to welcome your four-legged friends but please let us know in advance if you intend to bring your dog so we can prepare the Cabin accordingly.
The mountain and forest views from the full height picture windows and the patio are magnificent. There will be no better way to end the day than spending the evening on the patio with a roaring fire pit taking in the spectacular views or indulging in a bit of dark sky star gazing.
Morar faces west, so whilst it does not catch the early morning sun, it is bathed in sunshine from late morning until late into the evening. It’s the ideal place for an alfresco dinner from the BBQ or the fire pit grill plate. The sunsets visible from Morar can be spectacular.

We’ve tried to think of everything you’ll need on your Highland holiday, so each cabin comprises
While both cabins are warmed by underfloor heating and electronic panel radiators, there’s nothing quite like the glow of our wood burning stoves to give you that special year-round cosy feeling. This continues outside on your own patio area, which is equipped with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a fire pit, so you can spend longer in our fresh mountain air.
Our cabins are named after the iconic villages and town on the ‘Road to the Isles’ – Arisaig, Morar & Mallaig. The villages are famous for their white sandy beaches whilst Mallaig is the main fishing port & ferry terminal serving Skye and the Small Isles. They are around 50 minutes drivetime from Stronaba and are must-visit locations when staying with us.
All 3 of our cabins accept up to 2 well behaved dogs but please visit our ‘DOG FRIENDLY’ page for further information on bringing your 4-legged companions to Stronaba Croft Cabins
